As well as giving investment advice we also have our own dedicated in-house Investment Management Team who manage portfolios on client's behalf on a discretionary basis.
At Close Wealth, we have a team of investment professionals dedicated to delivering reasonable returns for you. In an increasingly complex world of investment, we try to keep client's decisions simple. By helping you to assess your attitude to risk this leads to a portfolio choice that is based on bonds or equities. Our Investment Managers then take all the key decisions necessary. They ensure that you have a level of geographic diversification (UK vs Europe vs USA, for example) and pick individual bonds, stocks or collectives within these markets aimed at producing a return better than the relevant market.
There is a close working relationship between our Investment Advisers and our Investment Managers and our Investment Managers meet many clients on a regular basis to hear their views and wishes.
In Box 2 Investment Managers invest in a wide range of deposits and bonds spread over a series of investment terms with the objective of providing flexibility whilst taking advantage of the higher rates of return available to them for their risk category.
In Box 3 we offer 3 portfolios giving access to a range of risk investments that cater for different attitudes to risk;
In each of these Box 3 services, there is a typical asset mix and currency exposure. Our Investment Managers do have discretion to vary these limits, within given parameters, to take advantage of periods when one asset class can be expected to perform materially better than another. By managing this asset allocation within agreed parameters it is our aim to enhance returns and reduce risk against the core allocation. As both traded bonds and equities put your capital at risk, we also have the ability to use cash as a safe haven in times of uncertainty. Assets in Box 3 are managed on a total return basis, where we aim to maximise the total return from your investments by reinvesting the income generated.
