Event presenters

To be successful and fully meet its objectives, any education event must be ably stewarded by expert, specialist speakers.

The principle host for one of our courses is the course tutor, who manages the whole event, including other specialist speakers for example on health, State benefits and finance.

Close Wealth works with a large number of experienced course tutors. These tutors are totally independent of Close, which we believe is essential if we are able to provide completely up-to-date, relevant and unbiased information to all attendees. Our course tutors come from many different backgrounds but all will have retired from HR, pensions, personnel or training roles with major UK employers and so they are well qualified to advise delegates on the many issues they must address.

We have rigorous selection, training and evaluation processes to ensure the quality standards of our tutors. Overall throughout 2007, our tutors achieved a satisfaction rating from all delegates attending our courses of 94%.

To demonstrate the breadth of experience within our course tutors, here are some summary CVs of a few of the tutors we use.

We also have our team of dedicated specialist financial lecturers who deliver the finance seminar to our 800 events across the UK each year. We employ our finance lecturers, as we need to ensure they maintain their technical competence on what are highly technical matters in a regulated industry. Whilst our finance lecturers no longer provide one-to-one investment advice to individuals, they are provided with the same technical information, training and support given to our Investment Advisers.
